We have a little tradition at our house that I did growing up. When strawberry begins you have strawberry short cake for dinner and that is it. It is not quite strawberry season but I could not help myself. I am so tired of the winter weather I needed something a bit springy in my life so we enjoyed!

You even take beautiful pictures of strawberries! What a fun tradition. I hear you on the spring thing, although it's supposed to be pretty nice here next week, hopefully some of it will come your way.
Oh gosh, this is one tradition I would love to steal, but alas, Jared doesn't even like dessert. Maybe I'll just celebrate it myself. :) Mmmmm, strawberry shortcake. Your photos make it look especially delicious.
