Double Trouble

The Mumford Family Reunion

We spent this last week in Idaho for the Mumford (dave's mom's side of the family) reunion. We had so much fun! Dave's Grandfather Mumford grew up in Idaho and we went to his home town in memory of him. We went to his old house and school grounds. We talked about the things he did growing up and how much he loved it there. We also went to Minnetonka cave and Bear Lake. We had lots of raspberry shakes and great food. It was so much fun to see all of Dave's family.

SSSSSSSSSSS!! Snake!

We went to the Aquarium one saturday and to our amazment and Henry's pleasure there was a reptile petting zoo and poney ride just out side. He was so excited first to go on the horseey and then when he saw the snakes and lizards he could not contain himself. He ran right in and started to touch the snakes and get down on the ground and face to face ssssssssing at them. I was amazed and so was everyone there. I kept hearing, "Look at that little boy, oh my goodness", over and over. He has no fear!!!!

Horseey ride!

The Marshall Family Reunion

We came to Utah for the Marshall family reunion (my mom's side) and had so much fun!! We went to Seven Peaks Water Resort and Henry had so much fun! He went on so many big slides and showed no fear! I think we went down one slide 50 times. He loved the kids pools and the lazy river but most of all the big slides were his favorite. We went to the Oakley rodeo (a family tradition) and he loved all of the animals and the fireworks. We also went on the carousel at Zurmont and found a pond that just had to have rocks thrown in it. He and his cousin Jack did this for 20 min. It is always so fun to be with family!

Jetta's blessing

We had such a wonderful day! Jetta's blessing was so sweet and many great things were said. We had family come in town for her blessing and a small lunch after the meeting for friends and family. My mother made her blessing dress and she looked so beautiful!

Jetta Jane Anne Stevens

Jetta is finially here!!! She was 7 lb. 4 oz. It was a very difficult delivery but we made it. Her full name, Jetta Jane Anne is a very long name but she is named after two very important women in my family. Jetta Jane was my great grandmother on my father's side and Anne was my great great grandmother on my mother's side. These women were exceptional and I am proud to have my daughter named after them. Henry is very interested in this little baby and was quite darling with her at the hospitol. I am sure it will be an adjustment but for things are going well.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!!! Henry is just starting to understand what Christmas is. However, he thinks that santa means chocolate because of the advent calander that we have done. It has been so fun. We spent Christmas at home in Denver this year. I am very pregnant and did not want to fly. We had so much fun, just our little family. We woke up and did presents, Henry made bank! Then we had breakfast and watched movies all day and played in the snow and with all of our new toys. Henry got a slide or weeeee as he calls it. The video I posted is classic. He also got some cute outfits and a playmobil farm. He loves everything and so do we.

The Richards extended family

My family came in town for Thanksgiving and we decided it would be a good time for a family photo.

Happy Birthday Henry!

Henry is 2 and I can't believe it! It was such a great birthday, Dave's family came into town and spent the weekend with us. We did so many fun things but best of all (well for Henry) was the Aquarium. Henry is way into fish and anything that lives in the water. His birthday was even fish themed with vegetables for dinner because that is Henry's favorite food right now. So, we had a fish tank cake, veggies, and Henry made off with a killing in the gift department. All in all and successful birthday!
