Plymouth Plantation is the place where the Mayflower landed and the where the pilgrims first lived. At this plantation there are people who play the roles of those pilgrims who actually lived there. They take these character roles very seriously. They pretend to never have heard of cars or airplanes or places like California. They live there and eat as they would have, with flies and animals everywhere. When asked if they are worried about germs they ask "what are germs?".
